Where is the save location really located in Windows?

According to this repository, the data is saved, either in Documents, or in Userdata inside the Steam folder. I can't find it in Documents, and in the Steam folder, apparently it only saves the process of DMC 3. I know this because months ago when I passed the three games, I saved that folder in the cloud, and when I restored it, it only shows the progress of DMC 3.

I found mine on the Steam Userdata folder with my dmc1,2,3 and options.sav. Not sure for the Documents section. Apparently they removed Steam Cloud for this game IIRC.

Well, I'll tell you that since the patch a few days ago, no delivery detects my saved games.

DMC3 Transparency, Hell Eye, and Moon Texture Fix link is not working or broken. Any possible way to download this mod from another link or a fixed link?

All three fixes are together and are not separated.

A single package isn't optimal as that removes the user choice from just using one of them, and from what I can see it's all but impossible to separate the individual mods from the package.

Hopefully we'll able to retrieve mirrors of the original mods which may be possible to re-upload on PCGW's community site.

I def have backups of those original files, so I could handle that. What details should I put in each of their descriptions?

Blarg, I keep trying to submit the Transparency and Hell eye fix but PCGamingwiki keeps throwing a server error (-200) when I try to upload it.

How large is it? There's currently an issue where files larger than 80 MB or so would fail to upload properly. If that's the case you can technically split the archive into two and upload both in the same "File" on the community site.

Zaphero (talkcontribs)

AH, it's 162.297 MB. I'll try uploading it in parts of like 75MB then.

Edit: it errored out again. Guess I'll try 70MB now.

Edit2: Error -200 yet again. Guess I'll try 60MB now.

Yeah it's being extremely inconsistent on when it accepts a file and when it errors out, and even when I got through it just put me on a blank page instead of submitting. Unless I'm missing something, the system just flat out doesn't seem to be working.

Aemony (talkcontribs)

Can you upload the files elsewhere, so I'd be able to download them and try on my own?

Generally speaking once the files have been properly uploaded and the submission completed, you should be taken to the eventual page for the files which will enter a pending state until a staff member approves it, but I can confirm that we haven't received any new submissions so it would seem the upload failed somewhere in the process.

Any site that doesn't require an account to download is fine, e.g. Google Drive or Mega.nz or whatever else site you might know of?

Zaphero (talkcontribs)

Ah I meant like in DMs? I'm trying to post them here but the captcha insists on me saying I'm not a robot an infinitely many amount of times for trying to post links in here.
