Early builds of Cortex Command were available as early as 2006 ( Win 2006-07-07, Mac 2008-12-09 ), but it wasn't until September 2012 that the game had its 1.0 release.
I've put the 1.0 per platform release dates in the article to replace the February 2012 date that was there previously (not sure where that came from). Revert/adjust as needed ^_^
