A number of threads tip

3
Piotrek54321 (talkcontribs)

"Highly CPU dependent, recommended to run on a two threads per core CPU, e.g. any Intel Core G4000 / i3 / i7 or any AMD Ryzen series CPU." Well, that's great, but there's not a single word on how to do that.

Baronsmoki (talkcontribs)

I think it's saying you just need to play with one of those CPUs, and the CPU will handle the threading for you. If you don't have the right kind of CPU, I imagine you're out of luck.

Aemony (talkcontribs)

Yup, that key point only really said to use a CPU with at least two logical cores (basically all modern CPUs made in the last decade except some low-end budget laptop components).

It was also sorta redundant as the minimum system requirements mentions already how a dual core CPU is the minimum CPU needed.

I’ve rephrased it and moved it down to system requirement since it isn’t really a key point (basically all games from 2010 and later have the same “requirement”).

FPS drops affecting high-end hardware.

Have anyone found a reliable solution or at least found the cause?

Aemony (talkcontribs)

Isn't it the PhysX performance issue that Mirh mentioned below? The linked sources seems to indicate as much, with some mentioning how unisntalling the latest PhysX drivers and installing the legacy version of Physx should supposedly solve it, although I didn't look deeply into it.
