Key points

Contains bonus content from PS2 and PS3 versions.
Frame rate is capped at 30 FPS, due to being direct port of the PlayStation 3 version, not the GameCube version.
Rendering resolution is capped at 1280x720. Developers are working on a fix -- they replied "give us some time to fix the issues please" and "we are working on the internal resolution issue".[1] In the meantime, use TSFix.
Game executable keeps changing because of DRM used, which makes it near impossible to force improvements from external programs and GPU panel and files put besides executable get removed by computer cleaner utilities like CCleaner.[citation needed]
Incomplete English localization with lots of misspellings.
Broken Italian, French, German and Spanish localizations.

Essential improvements

TSFix

Guide here.
  • Fixes Namco's bad framerate limiter
  • Allows fullscreen borderless window mode
  • Integrates Durante's character outline enhancement
  • Correctly matches rendering to the selected resolution (rather than 720p upscaled)
  • Prevents crashing every 15 minutes on laptops with touchscreens

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/372360/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (372360) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
