Anti-aliasing (AA)

By default the game uses SMAA with a temporal filter that blurs objects when you move.[citation needed]
Improve edge smoothing in the game[citation needed]
  1. Go to <path-to-game>\GameSDK\.
  2. Create and open game.cfg.
  3. Add r_AntialiasingMode = 1 to the file. This keeps the edge smoothing on but removes the temporal filter.

To retain temporal AA, download custom ReShade preset and extract archive contents to <path-to-game>\Win64\. This gives a clearer picture than default AA option and will smooth edges better as well.

Notes

Do not turn AA off completely. Will cause flickering and lighting issues.
The custom ReShade preset will slightly blur interface text.

Ambient occlusion

Disable ambient occlusion[3]
  1. Go to <path-to-game>\GameSDK\.
  2. Create and open game.cfg.
  3. Add r_SSDO = 0 and save.

Screen space reflections

Disable screen space reflections[3]

Post-processing

Disabling depth of field will disable blurring of distant landscape as well as the radial blur when using iron sights.
