Issues unresolved

  • Cannot select 1366x768 resolution despite having 1366x768 native desktop resolution.[2]
  • If you take many hits the controller may disconnect and then reconnect, causing the game to lag.
  • Default mic is always on in multiplayer, there's no option to disable it. Lowering the voice chat volume to 0 won't completely mute it.

Co-op glitches

  • Leon Mission 1-1: The professor may get stuck on a table and a chair in the ballroom, you can prevent this by waiting at the checkpoint for 2–3 minutes for him to get to where he needs to be.
  • Jake Mission 4-4: Some players may be dropped upon entering the level.
  • Chris Mission 4-4: After collecting the three passcodes, you enter a quicktime event; the co-op partner might not see the enemies needed to be shot. Workaround is to complete that section single-player, and continue the game upon boarding the plane.[3]

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/221040/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (221040) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
