Essential improvements

Patches

Patch 1.1 updates the game to the latest version. The GOG.com release is already patched.[2]

Import characters

Characters can be imported from Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession.
Copy save files[3]
  1. Make a new folder in the Ravenloft: Stone Prophet installation folder (e.g. STRAHD).
  2. Copy the Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession save folder(s) into this new folder.
  3. Run Ravenloft: Stone Prophet and choose Import Characters.
  4. Go down the list and into the folder made in step 1.
  5. Go down the list and into the folder for the save slot to import from.
  6. Go down the list and choose SAVE.DAT to load the characters for that save slot.

Notes

Some items are not imported and difficulty may increase. Refer to the Ravenloft: Stone Prophet manual for details.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 1.5 File/folder structure within the installation folder reflects the path(s) listed for DOS game data. For the GOG.com release, file changes in DOSBox are redirected to <path-to-game>/cloud_saves/ even if GOG Galaxy is not used (this folder contains all redirected files, so some files in the cloud_saves folder might be temporary files or other files that do not contain saves or settings).
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/1904560/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (1904560) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
