Re-release versions |
|
|
- SafeDisc retail DRM does not work on Windows Vista and later (see above for affected versions).
Version differences
- The original release contains SafeDisc V1 DRM.
- Re-release versions, such as the LEGO Masterpiece version, are DRM-free, enabling CD-less gameplay; however, the game's soundtrack will not play as it is Redbook audio-based.
Essential improvements
EXE Parameters
At the end of a LegoRR.exe shortcut target, parameters can be added to change the game. A full list is available at the Rock Raiders United wiki, but here are the major ones:
-cleansaves
- Deletes all saved games.
-programmer
- Allows the LEGO Media movie to be skipped.
-fpslock
- Enables VSync.
-testlevels
- Unlocks every level.
-window
- Allows the game to be launched in a window when in 16-bit colour mode.
-best
- Disables prelaunch prompt.
-ftm
- This makes the videocard use all available texture memory. Also turns off game lighting. Lighting still affects game models.
-debug
- Allows resolutions up to 1024x768, but crashes on everything greater than 640x480.
