Key points

Originally titled The War Z, rebranded due to "confusion and trademark issues".[1]
The game currently suffers from serious bugs[2][3] and a numerous amount of hackers.[4]
The developers were accused of scam and false advertising and the game itself was pulled off Steam at one point.[5] This was during launch of game and many of said issues have been resolved, including adding the anti-cheat engine PunkBuster.[6]

  1. File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/226700/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (226700) may differ in some cases.
