Flickering game window/won't enter fullscreen properly

Use dgVoodoo2^[1]
Download dgVoodoo 2. Extract `dgVoodooCpl.exe` and the contents of the `MS\x86` folder into `<path-to-game>`. Run `dgVoodooCpl.exe`, select the DirectX, tab, uncheck dgVoodoo Watermark. and Application controlled fullscreen/windowed state. Apply settings.

Problem installing the CD/DVD version

The installation process fails with the message "The wizard was interrupted before Area 51(R) could be completely installed".

Start the installation manually using the command console

Open the first CD or DVD in a new window to view its contents.
Inside the window while holding ⇧ Shift press the right mouse button and select "Open command window here" or "Open PowerShell Here".
In the command console type msiexec /i "Army Men Sarge's War.msi" /qb and press ↵ Enter.

Notes

Default installation folder is C:\Program Files\Global Star Games\Army Men Sarge's War\ for 32 bit systems and C:\Program Files (x86)\Global Star Games\Army Men Sarge's War\ for 64 bit systems.

High Fps Issues

Limit framerate to 60 FPS

Set the monitor refresh rate to 60 Hz
