Star Wars: Starfighter is a singleplayer first-person and third-person action, shooter and vehicle combat game in the Star Wars series.

The PC version is based on the PlayStation 2 version rather than the Special Edition Xbox version. As a result, it is missing the multiplayer mode from the Xbox version.

Issues fixed

High FPS causes visual glitches

Running the game above 30 FPS will lead to issues such as rapid option selection in menus and excessive screen shake when taking damage or using boost/brake.
Cap FPS[3]
  1. Use a software that can cap FPS and limit to 30 FPS. See Frame rate capping.

Notes

  1. Applications writing to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE will be redirected to other locations based on various criterias, see the glossary page for more details.
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/32350/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (32350) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
  3. When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
