Resolution

The game does not expose resolution options through the in-game menu, requiring manual changes through the registry.
Use Registry Editor to change resolution:[6][7]
  1. Open the Registry Editor of Windows.
  2. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Chibig\Summer in Mara
  3. Locate and change the following values:
    • Screenmanager Resolution Height_
    • Screenmanager Resolution Width_
  4. Start the game and confirm that the resolution has been changed.
  5. If necessary, press Alt+ Enter to switch between borderless fullscreen window and a regular bordered window.

    Main menu background seems to be aligned to the left and not cover the whole screen, and the animated cutscenes are cut on top and bottom, but besides that everything else seems to work and scale correctly to the wider aspect ratio.

    This issue does not affect many elements, but it does most noticeably affect the button prompts shown when interacting with an item, where the button prompt is much smaller than expected and in relation to the rest of the UI.

    Through a display mode switch in Windows, the game ended up locked to 1024x768 for me. I used this method to fix it.
